So sorry about your dear Cookie. She had a full and long life from what I understand. I have followed her escapades on here since I joined BYC last year. She will be missed. It is clear she was well loved.

I have a bantam Orpington chick hatched about 2 weeks ago from possible black or white orpingtons. It has a dot on the head and the feathers do appear barred… Does that necessarily mean its male? Are barring and head dots sex linked in bantam orpingtons?
