The boy...let me explain

I have one hen that is too large to meet the ABA SOP but in every other way, she is 100% stunning. So, I breed her with my smallest male. Every once in a while, though, you still will get a cockerel that weighs to much and is just a little too tall. In every other way, if he is "built like a brick house" as they say around here, I suggest you keep him and only breed to your smallest hens.
