"Well they are often healer children. When we heal we give away  life to do so.  They cannot regenerate like an adult, so they take the adults life that they heal to compensate to survive . It causes them to see images of the other persons mind as well. But they begin to shift fast. It can kill them. They often get addicted to healing after the first time.
