Thayer heard a knock on the door then answered it. "Yeah?"

"Did you take that intruder?"

"Yes, and I am keeping her... she's already paid her penance."  He smirked.

"Shes a traitor Thayer, Arthur will expect her to answer for it."

"I will deal with that when he is ready. She however, is mine now."  Thayer snorted. "I be back on the floor on my next shift. How is the Head Master?"

"You are now. He's been transferred to a better medical facility."

Thayer smirked. "Understood. Let me know when any new slaves come in then."

The Shard nodded then left.  Thayer shut the door and then tossed the blanket he was using to cover himself and went in t to take a shower.

The stallion took his colt and thanked Lana.

"Are you sure you will be okay with him.. I mean you just got back... you need some time to grieve sir." Lana was concerned.

"I just need to hold him....... " He walked out with his colt.

Lana started crying feeling terrible for him.


The stallion carried his foal he had never met before and walked towards town. He found a shady spot and let the foal toddle along in the grass. The he started weeping about his wife.

The stallion took out the bottle and snacks that Lana gave him after he had a good cry then he held his son and fed him. "You look like her... you really do." He kissed the colt.

Ferris felt rocks inside. "Where are your mares no Braxton?"

Thrain chewed on a roll as he read then he replied and put the comm back in his pocket. He noticed Jesslyn "You okay?
Kaliska blushed deeply. "A little... but only what Leandra taught me.." she shrugged.

"I sold them all. Except for Jasmine's mother. I really did love her.... she was different... she was willing, kind, and never once complained about her work..." a small smile played at his lips. "Jasmine is the spitting image of her." he mentioned. Then blinked. "So anyways, when I decided to leave, I took her along. I didn't know she was in foal. She didn't tell me." he fell silent, and then the ranch house came into view.

Jesslyn nodded quickly. "Yes, of course." she said, then went back to eating. Max looked at Thrain and Jesslyn, then at Emily, and kept eating. Emily spread butter on her roll and then cleared her throat. "So, Jess, I plan to volunteer at the foster home.. and Thrain thinks it would be a good idea if you could help." she smiled, and looked at her granddaughter. "Would you like to?" she asked. Jesslyn looked up from her food at her grandmother, then at Thrain, and then down again. The idea didn't really thrill her. She shrugged and replied, "Sure, I guess so."
"Is Leandra a friend?" Melanie smiled. "One that you remember?"

Not many are willing to leave what they now or change their ways." Ferris eyed the farm house ahead. "Jasmine is fortunate.. I wish I had a dad like you."

She sat Grace down after she passed out from eating. She bundled her up and laid her on a small quilt on the floor. "Okay I can read too now." She sighed.

The doctor came to Are's. "We are ready to move her. The babies are still healthy, but if this doesn't work.. she won't make it and of course they will perish. I know you hold no bond to her, you might want to not witness this... especially since one is your child." She offered him a way out.

And yes my closet is locked." He unbound her. "I would not recommend trying to run away. The other males might be tempted. And I don't want to have to put a collar on you. " He kissed her cheek.
