"The kind that opens you up to talk." She grunted as Gaia tightened a bandage. "My heart is with you..." She hesitated. "We will defeat them."
 
Torik glanced at her out of the corner of his eye, but didn't say anything.
 
Merinos started shouting again and many thumps echoed thru the hull. "Drat... he pulled on the stick. Anybody an ace pilot here? I'm more of a tech." He shook his hand as something sparked. "Captain Torik, I need you to strategize some kind of plan to rescue civilians while we are down there. If timing works right, we will have eight minutes to pick up and cram quite a few cats in here before we jump out."

"Then I will pray their safety." Shandrak was now sitting, but still hunched over. "Do you want us to take you there when this is over?" She grasped her side which was now glowing through the bandage. She shooed Gaia away from anymore prodding.

"Give the Captain a minute Merinos." Shandrak snaped at him.

"Thank you," Torik said quietly. Gaia stepped back.
