"Yes. It wasn't a mission. Nark changed it to classified when she died."

Illy cocked his head a little.  "do you mind me asking what you know about it?"  He was calm now, and hoping that Callabine would stay calm as well.

Callabine pressed her lips together until they turned white. "There was a camera in the cockpit. It was supposed to be just a small trip that would show me our borders. I didn't have a license to fly a ship yet. Suddenly there was a Drex ship in front of her - well within our borders. She started firing at the ship but it had some sort of shield and the plasma bolts just bounced off it. So she tried to fly away, but there was some sort of magnetic beam that kept the ship from moving. We could see into the cockpit. There were two Drex in the cockpit, but they were in the copilot's seats. My mother kept on firing, hoping that she could wear down the shield. Then a Terrellian walked from the back of the ship into the cockpit. He sat down in the pilot's chair and fired at my mother's ship. She never stood a chance. Once her shields wore down, it was over. She was killed by a Terrellian who had allied himself with the Drex. There was no purpose to her death. She was just something in the way, something to be disposed of. And they disposed of her. Nark took me with him when he went to investigate. There was nothing left of her or her ship but a few particles of ash. You know, she never stopped firing at that ship, even though she knew that she couldn't do any damage to it. She knew that she was going to die as soon as she found that she couldn't move her ship. The camera didn't stop filming until her ship blew up. I watched her die. I saw it all." Callabine realized that there were tears on her face. She wiped them away roughly. "Do you blame me now, for hating Terrellians? Every time I see one I see my mother's death."

Illy stood there a moment and didn't say anything then he walked over to her.  He just stood there in front of her silent.  Now I know what's going on.  I have to tell the poor thing but now is not the time.  He placed a hand on her shoulder and met eyes with hers.  "It's okay to cry."  He wasn't sure what was or was not okay to say to her.
"No it's not. Crying is a sign of weakness."

Gump finished fixing the last tree. Then he left to find Illykran. Illy had not been answering his communicator, and he figured it was because he had ticked him off. He had recently received word that Prince Zepher has managed to heal Nark, and that The Condor was back. Yet Nark was still being forced to retire and still wanted to know if Illy would take over as fleet Admiral until the mess was over. He was quite upset about what had happened to his home, and wanted to get back to his family. The death reports were not being transmitted for security measures. He checked the hospital which was the last location he had seen Illy, then he checked his room and noted the half packed bags. So he went to find Anubis, since Illy was supposed to meet with him about what he found in Druins little torture house.
Gump walked up to the bar. "Anubis please?"

Collia rolled her eyes. "Do I look like I'll be going anywhere? Sandie has the key to my ship and when I asked for it yesterday she refused to give it to me. She has it locked in a metal box with a code."

Kasha needed to get up but she was nervous, she slowly slipped out of bed and walked over towards the restroom. As she feared Nostros was still awake. He was just staring up at the ceiling. She continued past him and he completely ignored her. On the way back he hadn't moved at all, and he wasn't blinking. She stared a little while to see if his chest was moving and she couldn't see anything at all. The room was dimly lit by a fake fire. "Angolas?" She stepped closer. He did not respond. "Angolas?" She knelt down next to him. She started crying. "Angolas!"

(yikes scary Owl! lol)

"No..." her lips quivered. She ripped his shirt apart and listed, there was nothing... "No.. com'mon your heart is stronger than this!" She wept. She kissed his still lips and placing her head in his chest gave it everything she had.

Krits was still sitting outside the door, only he was weeping. Such things not even he can change, for if the heart wills it he cannot save it.
