Shera was silent about it after that. She wasn't going to argue thought she could. She just didn't want him to hit her if she ticked him off. "Do you like your life?"

"In." Valdan called out.

Hellaina stopped. "Do you wish me here?"
His whiskers twitched, he took a lick, then ate it.

"Doesn't matter." He walked in. "Why'd you take the sword?" He already knew, but wanted to check any details.
"Like it?" Kasha grinned.

"Well... I know how too... spice things up." She sheepishly grinned

"Just wondering..." She sighed. "There's not much to entertain a mare around here.. except to be frightened... the bear cub was my best experience... not including his mother." She snickered. "He just sat there like 'Whatchya doing? Aren't I cute."

Hellaina came in and stayed against the wall.

Valdan nodded. "Someone knew to put that box under your cabin, I assumed they'd be watching everything that you are doing. If you were to leave the surface... they would know it and just blow up your ship and find the thing in the wreckage. I am making sure that you stay put... I had her bring me the sword for a reason.. we caught the bas**rd."

Shera's felt like a lost soul in a sea of insanity. "I thought I already was one."  She muttered to herself.

Hellaina felt her hear lurch.  She followed after him at a distance.

Fuzz sniffed it curiously, never having eaten cherries before.

He went to Valdan's tent and knocked on the post.

"You don't have the ear the cherries.. just the white part if you like."  She smiled.

"Derick. Lived a few tents down from you." He informed. "He had associates that tried to take off with your mare... we ambushed them. Dear old dad was watching.. so we played it out to hopefully deter the as***** . Helliana was very brave about it."

She looked down hoping that Festus was not mad at her.

"In the hold down in the lower levels.. feel free to question him ... but no killing yet. He needs to talk." Valdan walked out to show Festus. Hellaina moved to follow her husband.
