"Agh, yeah..." She got to her paws and picked up the broken headset, cursing under her breath. She seemed emotionless about the sudden collision, besides frustration. With her broken headpiece, her communication collar was now useless - she'd have to build a new headpiece when the battle was over. She cursed again, shoving it into her pocket. Si'ralle's blue eyes glanced behind her, then turned back to Riku. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah," Riku replied, still slightly embarrassed. His ears were drooping back slightly, looking at the plasma pulser on the ground. Its plasma generator had a crack in it from when it hit the ground, but otherwise it was intact. "Sorry, I didn't see you."

The Drex nodded, but was slightly anxious. Implants were a vital part of a typical Drex, and having them removed was very risky.

The Terrellians were masters of boitechnology, the retrofited what they could of the Drex's implants. Though much of the technology they didn't understand. They were able to link some its its DNA to encourage growth around new implants, ones that were indepent and free of control or tracking devices. Terrellian's were creatures of beauty so the implant they gave the drex were covered with Boidermic matter so that you couln't see any robotics. The Eye piece was modified to function as the old one, but had a cover to mimick an eye patch, one the could be seen through. They found some very interesting things inside the Drex, which they documented and would further study in detail. The process took weeks to complete, it was hairy at times but the creature survived and was moved to a secret location.

Si'ralle nodded, knowing exactly what to do as soon as he finished his directions. "And if that doesn't work, I once fired up my gunship by using heat and magnetic force near the main control panel, and it fired right up. Then once we get back home we can get her repaired, aye?"
