"I don't intend to, but my powers keep on growing the more I use them." Krits rubbed his temples. "It makes me wonder sometimes if my own mind is protected from them sensing me, sensing them?"

"Merinos!" Shandrak shouted.

"Colrat take that out!" Merinos ordered their wingman.

"You got it." A beam of light shot across the shuttle bow, then seconds later the debris imploded. Not a moment later the shuttle was hovering over the Control tower.

"The nullfiers still up." Merinos grunted. "Captain Nostros get on board now- we need to get out of here!"

Nostros and the others huddled and then with a flash were back on board the shuttle. "Get us to the Frigate." Captain Nostros ordered. Then he looked at Captain Torik. "He's not here. They must have moved him. There was no one down there, they were either killed or taken prisoner."
