Nakiso was deep in a dream. He woke up on his bed on Battia, in his apartment. He could see the main control tower in the distance from the large glass window. No, none of that could have been a dream... it was all too vivid, too real. What sort of consciousness was he in?

He stepped out of his bed, going to the glass window. He opened the sliding door, and stood outside on the balcony. This was very strange...

"Enjoying yourself?" A voice said from behind him. Nakiso jumped around, startled. His eyes widened when he saw the creature, it was Drex-like, but with no cybernetics whatsoever. It also had a SoL in its paw, glowing with power. This was the exact same creature that had visited Si'ralle.

"Who are you?!" Nakiso shouted, trying to grab his plasma pulser though it wasn't on him.

"Calm down, Nakiso," the Drex-creature said calmly.

"H-how do you know my name?!" Nakiso shouted again.

"Because I've been with you this whole time," the Drex-creature said, "as I told Si'ralle, I'm not your enemy. In fact, I'm probably one of the best allies you have. I'm using my dream calling ability to contact you."

"What," Nakiso said, baffled, "you look exactly like a Drex, but without cybernetics!"

"You'll find out why soon," he replied, "but for now I need you to listen to me. This is very important." Nakiso was silent. "Manex is about to strike, and its far more serious than the Gingercat homeworld getting destroyed. We are entering dark times, Nakiso. Darker than the Brenka has ever seen before. If we do not stop Manex soon, everything will be lost. There is much more to this than you know, and I need to meet with you, the Terrellians, and your Lunar Cat allies in person soon so I can tell you everything that I know."

Nakiso was dumbfounded. His jaw dropped at what the creature had told him.

"Go to star system Chitra after you have found the Lunar Cats," the Drex creature said. "I will be waiting for you." And with that, the Drex creature teleported away.

"Forgive me for prying Tisep." Krits leaned over towards her. "I understand what and why it is you want to find Kyro. Find Torik's will first, if he would embark on a rescue mission, otherwise if time and place serves, and you find someone to go with you, we will get you a ship of your own to investigate. If you are successful you may return to us.... but if you are captured we cannot risk the enemy discovering anything about this frigate... you must now allow them to take you alive." Krits' expression was drenched in sympathy. "The choice is yours, think about it wisely."

The chattering rose again amongst the Gingercats and Captain Mork. "Captain Torik at this point you should talk to Captain Nostros alone, let your crew go to a conference room to make up their minds." Mork sighed. "I will join them in an hour- I have something that I need to do first."

"Tison will come with me," she replied, "and Torik gave us permission to search for him."

"Alright," Torik said, going to find Nostros.

"How long has he been like this?" Shandrak placed her hand on the Kings head. He had fallen ill like all the other Terrellians, a few had perished, but they were infants. The King was as bad as Nostros had been. He was ill when she left to meet with Tracker a few weeks before.

"Ten days My Lady." The Doctor looked pale. "He is not getting better.... Its like the weapon was designed to specifically attack the Royal family members. Those who caught it came in contact with them, it gets weaker as the royal lines thins out."

"Then that would mean that he was the primary target?" She saw that his breaths were weak.

"It looks that way. We have not been able to treat him, none of the healers can remove this virus. Its like it has fused with his DNA." The doctor packed up his instruments. "I will leave you two alone."

"Tison will come with me," she replied, "and Torik gave us permission to search for him."

"Alright," Torik said, going to find Nostros.
"Then you choose to return with Torik?" Krits confirmed while standing up. "If so the Torik must find your vessel for you, we need to press on. If you chose to return to us then you will come with us until we come across a suitable ship. We cannot spare you one since Torik is borrowing a Battle shuttle... which may be for a very long time." Krits already knew her thoughts, but also knew that he had to let people play out their decisions.

Kyro stopped struggling against his restraints long ago; not only was he out of energy, he knew it was futile. A mix of sadness, grief, rage, and fear all boiled inside of him. It had been at least a few hours since he had been forced to watch Skylix be destroyed; or at least that's what it felt like. He had no way of communicating to his captain Torik or the rest of the crew and tell them where he was. He was merely at Naika's mercy, whoever she was.

He glanced out the viewing pod once again, to see if he could get any idea of where he was. He was obviously several thousand pcs from Skylix, but if he was passing through Battian, Terrellian, Lunar Cat, or even Asterian territories he might have a chance of getting out of here alive. A slim chance, but a chance. His expression turned slightly peculiar as he didn't recognize the part of the galaxy he was in. He figured it was just the angle he was looking at it and kept watching, looking for something that he could remember.

Kyro soon saw a blue star on the horizon. He recognized it as Felet, a major Coracle colony. But something was wrong... terribly wrong...

He soon realized it why everything felt so strange. There were no ships around, it was eerily vacant. He wondered if it had to do with the Coracle empire's mysterious disappearance; it probably did.

Several months ago, the Coracles had suddenly halted all communication. They sent no ships to the other empires, and all ships that had been sent to them to find out what happened mysteriously disappeared as well and never came back. Had they suffered the same fate as the Battians and Gingercats?

(should I make Mork a main character? opinion? Only he is part of the Terrellain Empire yet not a Terrellian, and he only controls the ship, not the final decisions like Nostros and Nakiso. I know I have room for one more Captain)

"Captain." The tech saluted.

"Was the droid compromised?" Mork took the data pad.

"It did have to re-route through the Mekori Nebula due to enemy ships Sir."

Mork's ears drooped a little. "We can't risk it."

"Yes Captain." The tech signaled the ensign and soon the droid exploded.

Mork took the pad to confirm the data analysis that the droid transmitted. "Looks like he found them."

"What's going on?" Torik asked, walking up.

"What's going on?" Torik asked, walking up.
Nostros was waiting quietly outside Nakiso's quarters. "He's not answering, must be sleeping. I was getting ready to go back to the bridge." Nostros shifted. "We need to talk about the situation with your crew. Have you decided to go?"
