Sorted between the brood of 19; selected 7 to keep for now. I suspect the number will go down in the future.
Here is some dustbathing. I was digging under their coop and they were trying to wiggle out of the hole- then promptly began dustbathing.

Here is my oldest pullet I’m growing out. She’s so pretty.

He’s the sweetest! With humans… Super big a$$hole with every other chicken He has a harness and goes to school with the kids! I put little holiday outfits on him too lol

TSC got frizzles!!! Two white for sure and two mystery colours, they’re not quite feathered out to see if they’ll curl. I’ll grab pics tomorrow. Loved their colours and there’s no such thing as too many bantam Cochins!

We found a home for one of the bobtail boys, RooPaul. My daughter is very mad at me, but while I agree you can’t have enough bantam Cochins…you can have too many roosters of the same variety

They are truly the nicest boys!

I feel terrible, but he is going to a family with small kids and I know they will love him too

Thanks We rehomed another roo today that was one of my bantam EE babies I hatched last year and I did a bit of my own couch sobbing before he left too :-( So hard to say goodbye to them. But I try hard to see the big picture

Timmy Squared seems to have abandoned the nest days before hatch I grabbed the eggs, Betty, and popped her in the broody box with them. She happily pancaked on them immediately, so let’s hope everyone goes according to plan! Incubator is already running and I hope I wasn’t too late
