These were my first ducks, Starburst and Sweetie. Starburst was a muscovy cross and Sweetie was a mallard or a mallard cross. She was quite the wild card.

This is an interesting discussion question, how many of you provide water that your ducks can actually swim in?

I keep a kiddie pool for mine when the weather is not too cold. As we speak, my back yard is a giant puddle from rain and they are having a blast going from puddle to puddle! I don’t think I will be able to put them up as long as the water is there!

Mine love ‘accidentally’ spilling the water out of their pond just so they can drill mud holes here is my set up:

Thank you! It really wasn’t that hard, it only took a couple hours to build once I had the liner.

How do you clean it?

Mine get the largest kiddy pool you can buy in summer they can dive and swim under water in it then on nice winter days they get the small kiddy pool just for bathing. And of course buckets get used as bath too.

How do you clean it?

On the corner where there are chopped logs, it is able to be collapsed in just that one corner, before flowing through a stream like/guided course and into the lake I live on.
