The Doomsday Vault by James Rollins. I did not know until I read the after words that 90% of the work of fiction was true. I was shocked and I now search out his books.

where she does a talk on the story and I was absolutely fascinated by her account of what happened to her, along with her medical and emotional perspective of what happened. Didn't know there was a book, but I would highly recommend at least listening to her above lecture!

I read Martin the Warrior this summer by Brain Jacques. It is the sixth book in the Redwall series.

Too hard to pick the best..

I am heartbroken that two of my favorite authors passed away this year: Dick Francis and Robert B Parker.

Anything by them was a sure-fire guarantee of a good book. The literary world will never be the same.
