Ohhh. A lot of people use a dead chicken as bait in traps. Eggs too.

Do you set traps?

The important part is building a walled in trap slot _into_ the coop. You don't even need bait. The predators can see, smell, hear your chickens and literally cannot stay out of the trap. Watch the vid
