The best time of day to sell

I contacted my local egg board and they said that we are exempt from the request of a special permit to sell eggs if we sell them on our property. I currently have wayyyyy more than we could ever possibly eat and we are on a busy road. I have sat out by the curb with a little sign but...no takers. We dont want to do this all the time we just have too many right now. We also dont want anything permanent in place because we couldnt possibly fill the demand. What is the best time of day to sell eggs that you've found? Ive tried tuesdays and Thursdays 2-4 and gotten squat.

I don’t know where you are like a small town or a large one. I’m in a small town so when I went to the bank or grocery store I just started letting people know I had eggs. I now sell around 20 + dozen a week with no sign out.

I'd do later than 4... People are getting out of work after 4 pm. Also weekends are the best time to sell when everyone is out shopping and not working. People are in a rush to get home during the week after a long day of work.

If ur in a small town door to door I did it for 2 years not because I had to but because it was good exercise and fun and I made a wee pound afterwards now people just come to me or if I'm going visiting just ring up a few people house that I'm passing and drop them in
Btw always start with the price a little lower just so people will buy them.and when they realize how good they are being the price up a wee bit or offer them a free half dozen the first time and charge after that

And to answer ur Question Saturday is the best everyone's relaxing not rushing to school to get kids no work everyone's out shopping

Thats a good idea. I think ill sit out next saturday though. I have about 12 dozen i need to unload

My dad would take them but hes in florida. My brother doesnt want them for some reason i dont know. My sister is still on the dozen i gave her a month ago because her husband doesnt eat eggs and shes "on again off again vegan". My other brother lives out of state. Thats pretty much all the family
