I wanted to share with everyone the best de-licer and wormer I stumbled across it is called Ivermectin 5 mg.

The way you mix and use it is
mix one syringe of ivermectin with two syringes of water and with a small paint brush paint directly on the flesh of the neck in two spots and under each wing in the bald part and around the vent hole in a complete circle and treat again in 11 days. There is a YouTube video that shows how to use it I will place the link below once I get home.

Im holistic i prefer to deworm with fresh diced garlic, cayenne and ACV. I control lice and mites wt food grade DE and cedar oil

Totally agreed. I used Advocate for cats, half a vial, on the advice of my vet. It's also an 'ectin chemical. These chickens were literally dripping with lice when I bought them. ONE treatment ONE time and the lice were completely gone and haven't returned. You can use cydectin as well as ivermectin.

Edit to add that I just snuck in the coop at night, parted the neck feathers and dropped the half vial on their skin. That's it. No re-treating, no nothing.

Edit again - how the heck did this become two posts???

It's ok it happens but I did it like the video said I was stupid and brought a new rooster in and never checked him and all the hens that he breed with have those rock hard lice sacks but they are doing so much better now I am going to have to give them a bath and retreat them one more time.
