Sure. I have stray dogs and hawks to deal with also there are coons and other wildlife in the woods. Once the top is finished it is going to take one heck of a determined predator to get in. I am assuming that they will either give up or get shot before they can get in. If I really feel the need, I will lock the ducks in the doghouse at night, however, so far the biggest threats have been during the day.
