the Blackest Ones: on exploring the significance of Cemani mutations

Tim- I wish you hadn't deleted your posts. I thought they were good, and I am sure other people did too. The only thing that I thought could use tweaking is the 4 FM gene part. If you think that was incorrect, please just edit those parts.

You took the time to help people understand in another and perhaps clearer way.

I try to keep things simple, but tend to use a few technical terms. I assume that there may be a few people out there like me that may want to look up information on there own. Being able to Google those specific terms can help a great deal in the search. It likely took me a while to find them myself.

Way to go! She's a beauty!

I've got a hatcher full of Fm's this week --- single comb Fm's, pea comb Fm green-eggers, and Naked Neck pea comb Fm green-eggers.
It would be nice to understand *how* Fm works, but not necessary to make them, hahaha!

Thanks, I am quite pleased with her darkness. Not as dark as the best Cemani though. I am hoping that the highest level of darkness is possible while staying in the South American gene pool, but I am not expecting it.

How can you tell she's not as dark *as the best* Cemani as a little chick --- or is that an old pic?
