"I'll pass out the paper now. If you don't get one, just raise your hand and I'll count you as one who needs one. You'll get one by the end of the meeting. If you guys want, I can take a small group to one of the hideouts and Noah can take another group. But we have to stay low and keep quiet if you do. We can't have anyone following us." D explained.
June was kind of shocked how D had managed to take control of such a large group. She considered asking, but that probably wouldn't end well, considering that D asked lots of questions and didn't trust anyone. The same pinched feeling tugged at her gut as she realized that she was tricking everyone there, and they trusted her. She shook the thought from her head. She gave herself a mental slap. keep your was in the game. Your here for answers, not to make friends help them. she argued wit herself in her mind. She snapped back to reality. The paper would be a great thing for evidence. Then maybe they'll give her that rest she was wanting. She hated all the undercover things she had to do for her boss(es). She sat up in her chair a bit.
"Excuse us for being late." A male voice said, accompanied by a pretty girl with blonde hair. She brushed past him and sat down with the others. After a moment's awkwardness, he sat beside her.
She nodded. "It was to be expected." She said in an understanding voice. She waited till they were seated till she continued. "Alright, I'll pass it out now." She said. She passed one to each person.
June raised her hand. D nodded and mentally counted how many needed a directions sheet.
Skylar looked hers over quickly while Tyler read it thoroughly. Skylar was quiet, while Tyler kept trying to strike up a conversation with someone nearby.
June saw that D had counted her an lowered her hand. She crossed her arms over her chest and crossed on leg over the other. She brushed her jet black hair from her eyes and tightened the red ribbon ponytail. She was kind of getting tired of waiting and was about ready to rip the paper from someone's hand to read t, but she wasn't that kind of person. Instead, she sat there as waited for D to get her the directions sheet.
Tyler and Skylar whispered to each other inaudibly, and Skylar grinned at something Tyler had said.
She really was pretty; long, gold-spun hair framing ebony lashes and warm blue eyes. High cheekbones and a sweet smile accenting porcelain skin.
And Tyler seemed more like Skylar's "sassy gay friend" ( nothing wrong with being gay, just saying c: ), as opposed to being "interested" in her. He had pale skin and dyed lavendar hair swept to the side. Hipster frames, skinny jeans and Converse; he was utterly gorgeous to look at.
