So this brings my count up to 9 (I think). And to top it all off, I sold one of my extra males today!!
A friend hatched some of her buttons' eggs, only had one baby hatch. It turned out to be a girl, and she tried to put it in with her others (2 pair). Of course they beat the poor girl up, so my friend asked me if I would sell her one of the babies. I told her yeah, but the girl could then beat up the baby, since the oldest one is only a week. But I told her I did have some extra males, she was welcome to one of those.
So now I have only 8 males, with 5 females.
Still need some more girls!
