So I'm looking at getting some Marans. I'm not to concerned about getting the best but would like some decent birds. I don't really want to pay an arm and a leg either. I spoke to the owner who seems very nice and honest. He told me what he's working on, and what he's having problems with. He said that at the stage he is at with his birds he is concentrating more on breeding type than egg color. He did say his egg color is getting a little better. Also that he tries to keep in contact with his customers to help them and ask for feedback so he can make them better. He recommended this site to help me learn. Has anyone had any positive or negative exp with Breeder? His name is Wayne and he is in Michigan.
