I am wondering what breed of chicken go the broodiest the most? I have two silkies and I heard they go broody quite often but mine are three years old and havent gone broody yet. What is the problem?

I don't know. Can you leave them a few eggs or golf balls to give them a hint? Mine are more broody than not. I call them freeloaders

Buff Orphingtons are very good broodies, in my experience, but I think it just depends on the hen really.

bantams are the best me and my neighbor have to pry them off the eggs to get to them buffs are good to but i have not had any luck with them good luck
