Here's mama and olaf in the poolKeep posting pics we sure enjoy watching them grow up.
Can Olaf get out of the pool on it's own? you could try letting them all be together and see how it goes at a time you can watch close and make sure no one goes after Olaf. I like your pool set up.
Yes he can get out on his own I was gonna put rocks in there to make sure but he was in and out a few times by himself so I think he's okay I usually have another pool in their right beside it cause there are so many but the other one is out in the main yard for everybody else. Maybe I will let them out together for some supervised play time tomorrow. It's not the other ducks that worry me so much but the chickens. The other ducks were awful curious about him thoughCan Olaf get out of the pool on it's own? you could try letting them all be together and see how it goes at a time you can watch close and make sure no one goes after Olaf. I guess I could put the ducks in the run with them for a little while and leave the chickens out lolGotta watch those chickens for sure. Of course everyone will be curious Olaf is the new kid on the block lol
That might be safer till lil Olaf is around 3-4 weeks old then he'll be able to get out of their way quicker.I guess I could put the ducks in the run with them for a little while and leave the chickens out lol
yeah he's a little unsteady on his feet lol he was out there copying mama when she was preening herself and fell over himself a few timesThat might be safer till lil Olaf is around 3-4 weeks old then he'll be able to get out of their way quicker.
