Minnie posted some nice pics of buckeyes for you. I'm a little confused if you had went to that website you posted yesterday for a buckeye site how the pics there would make you question if the marans where buckeyes.....buckeyes are mahogany red with black tails and have pea combs. Marans are single comb.

Hey all!

Just wanted to post the first verified egg I got from one of my buckeye pullets today. Courtesy of Minniechickmama. - It's been a looong wait (5 months) but patience always wins out.

Here's a pic of a really nice buckeye comb. It's attached to a 5 month old cockerel that weighs 7 lbs 5 ounces. This bird is showing excellent potential!! He should be ready for the ON and the National meet in TN.
