Congratulations to the Buckeye winners at the Ohio National. Judge Jeff Halbach did an excellent job picking the winners. Jeff and his dad raised many Buckeyes during the time they operated Halbach Poultry Farm in Waterford Wisconsin. Congratulations to the winners in the bantam class too. I'm not sure who judged the bantams but from what I could see the bantams were very nice.

Had a blast. Met so many people and wore myself and my son out looking at all the birds. Wish we had more than one day to see things.

Did everyone have a good time at the Ohio National?

I had a wonderful time. I got to see so many breeds I have never had the opportunity to before. I learned a lot, got to talk to some other breeders of breeds besides just Buckeyes that we have in common, and to see some really great quality chickens of lots of breeds and varieties! It was well worth the trip. Plus, got to meet many online peeps!
