I got chicks. I'm "kind-of" in driving distance and I really hate shipping chicks or eggs. Two of us had him hatch for us at the same time so I picked up 31 chicks but I only kept 6 at that time. All were healthy kiddos.

I got my Buckeyes from Bill Dyke. He's in the Indianapolis area. I believe they moved a little more north last year but still have Buckeyes.

There's a man named Jeff Lay in Miamisburg Ohio who is really prominent in the buckeye world. I know that you can find him on Facebook. I don't believe that he sells much, but I'd say contact him and he can steer you in the right direction.

I wish I could hook you up Smuvers. I haven't been on here in a while, so I missed the post when you made it. My girls are all holding out on me. I am in search of some KFC posters to hang in the pens now, the ones with the bucket of crispy fried. This is the latest I have gone in a few years without eggs rolling.

My pullet just started laying last week. My hens haven't started yet though.

I just seperated my Buckeyes from my other birds so that I can hatch some chicks in a month or so, and pretty proud that I finally got through this whole thread! Super excited to be getting chicks from Hidden Creek farms at the end of April!

My pullet just started laying. I checked and there's bullseyes! Now I've just got to wait until it's warmer and then I'll start hatching. Can't wait! Hopefully my other 3 will start laying soon too.
