I got my first duck egg today! It is small but it is a ducky egg! The off white one.

I recently adopted some ducks. Could these two be Buff Opringtons? They are both 8 months old.

This is Crystal - a female

This is Bob - a drake

I am not an expert - could they be Pekin-Runner crosses? Don't look like Buffs to me.

All I know is that the eggs were bought off eBay. The others I got the breeds figured out on. These two have me stumped.

Really pretty but definitely not pure buff(whether some is in there, hard to say for sure)

I have some females.. sorry a rather distanced shot but gives you can idea on colour...

Hi all :)
I am getting ducklings next week from Ideal poultry, 2 buff females, 2 magpie females and a magpie male. I have heard the breed are good layers. Does anyone else have buffs from ideal? How are the temperment wise and do they lay like they should?

It looks like one of my buff ducks is buff and white. They are from ideal, so i suppose it could have been a mix up.

I love my Buffs! I have a hen and 2 drakes. My boys are the sweetest, flirty and adorable. They don't want me to pick them up or pet them but they follow me around and fluff their feathers for me all the time.
