The building of Pea Palace(Pic Heavy)

First off incredible job! Everything looks so professional and well made, and it's obvious that you put a lot of time into it! Secondly would like to ask you a few questions in your earlier post you showed a swap/auction if you could tell me where it was and what it's called I would really appreciate it. Also are you still going to design a website as you previously stated. Thanks and once again awesome job!

Frenchblackcopper if you are going to make a website I decided to make a peafowl/art website too... I took web design in high school but we didn't really learn much. I learned some basic coding in notepad and then learned a tiny bit of Adobe Dreamweaver. Still I really wanted to make my own website instead of having to pay someone to do it. I am using Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 which is a great program because it writes the codes for you, altough sometimes I go into code view to insert something or to fix something. The hard part was getting the website started. You can use one of their templates for the layout, but because I like being creative and doing everything on my own I decided to make it from scratch. It was a bit hard to do that and to finally figure out how to make a propper box for all of the link buttons, but watching video tutorials on youtube and the adobe website really helped. Everything I learned I would write down to make sure later if I forgot how to do something I would have it written down. One thing my teacher did teach me was how to make rollover buttons which are buttons that when you move your mouse over them, the color changes, they light up, etc. They are easy to make and pretty fun. I haven't bought my domain yet and I need to...The website is almost done althought I keep adding more and more stuff to it as I get more cool ideas. Hopefully it will be done sometime this summer and it will be a really fun website with lots of photos and things. If you are making a website good luck!

Minxfox, yes ours is almost 100% done now,,go to www.vomlauterbach.com/ and see for yourself. It's a GoDaddy Website tonight template we chose. My daughter did a lot of the work, I wrote the text I wanted and we bought the SEO along with the website. We're now going to build a peafowl Website too.Daughter is wanting $$$ to do that one from me/

I like the colors you use for your German Shepherd website. I first looked at the link on my phone and it looks good on the phone too. That is the main thing I am worried about with my website is if it will look okay on phones too. Good luck on the peafowl website! Are you going to make it a bird website in general since I see you have other kinds of birds?

Minxfox,,,I am planning to build a peafowl website with another member here so both of us can have a internet presence. They have colors and patterns that I do not have and other types of waterfowl to showcase.I will add my Ornamental pheasants and maybe my New Hampshire reds for chickens. I stilll have French Marans but out of over 120 that I started with and now 4 generations of my own culling and selection,I maybe have 20 birds left as good breeding stock. I guess I need to change the tags under my Profile page.

Finishing up the east side breeding pens today. This will complete all 10 of my seperate breeding pens under the east side. Cameo's,Taupe, and a pen of 2011 hatched birds will occupy these last 3 breeding pens.Next year expansion will need to start on the west side because of coming 2 year old Peach and Whites at least!

Here is the second pen completed. I had this one all but a entryway door and one side finished up last year but never used it.This year Roadtrip and his girls are occupying this pen and it has plenty of green from last year and no mudd.
