The Bunny Chat Thread - For Bunny Owners

It depends on the bunny, one of mine was ripped out of his cage by a dog so he might be more scared of dogs than my bunny who was raised near dogs.
If it’s a baby bunny, it wouldn’t have that experience unless the breeder/seller allowed it. My pug gets kisses from our bunnies. They were never scared to begin with because dogs were new to them.

My dog used to think bunnies are small moving chew toys. My brother dropped a baby bun once and my dog caught it ran it around the yard. Thankfully we caught him before he could do any damage. 😬 It has been awhile since he has seen rabbits. I am wondering how he will react🤔

My rabbits suck their piece of banana (infrequently given because sugar) into their mouths without a blink...chewing like it's the best thing EVAR. They also do this with grapes, juice dripping from their mouths.
I went to go get a banana yesterday and the stems tore off al of them except the one I wanted 😂 I’m feeding them to the chickens and turkeys before they go bad.

I’ll try it with the bunnies at a later time

Mine liked watermelon. They would get the red juice on their white fur and it would stay there for a day or so. They looked like evil rabbits😂

What type of dog?

We have a hunting beagle (retired) she is not allowed near the bunnies, but all our other dogs and cat are okay with them.

English shepherd. He has an invisible electric fence they the rabbit hutches stay behind. The time he caught the baby bun was because the bunny ran away from us and ran past the fence.
