This is like a hallway and I closed the area with the cage and another grid the boxing bag and the bags are there to close the area so he cant escape from under the cage. He just manages to slip out through tiny spaces. I need to close them with something else any ideas?

Do you have a gate at all? Something like this could work really well

Is something wrong with this? It doesn't have a gate but the extra grid I used is not too tall I can remove that easily and put it back and I can also just go from on top of it or make it into a gate by attaching it to the cage. I also found a much bigger litter box.

Oh I was just wondering is you had something like similar that might be easier.

Are you just going to keep it blocked off with the cage and let him free roam on the other side?

Yes he still prefers to be in his cage at night and I can't let him be out of that space cuz there are things up there which could be dangerous for him.

I used books before, but idk if thats an option. What about an old cookie sheet or cooling rack from the kitchen? Something you guys just don’t use anymore. Or you could get a playpen from the internet
