The Bunny Chat Thread - For Bunny Owners

hello guys my name is stephen, i'm run a small rabbit farm, i know this is a chicken site but while surfing the internet trying to know my rabbits breed i came acrosss this site and i would be so grateful if i can get some clarity concerning the breeds i got
so the first picture is that of my buck[max] which i think he's either NZ white or florida white {not really sure}
the second picture is that of my doe[suzie] she has a grey and white mix {i think she's dutch} would need your help to confirm
so i crossed both of them and she gave me a pure white albino with pink eyes, a pure grey that looks a little bit like a chincilla, and a broken grey and white
i would really appreciate if i can get some answers because i'll start selling soon and i'll love to be able to tell my customers what breeds they are getting

I mean, adopting rabbits is always nice. But ofc be aware you don't know what kinda medical care they'll need.
Yeah I have know idea what I'm getting into 🤣
That's the reason I got both my dogs from a good breeder. And because of my dog allergies (which I've somewhat grown out of).

I normally don't actually do things like this.
I'm the type of person to research everything for years before actually doing it. And I have researched rabbits for about 3 years.

With this situation I'm not sure if I even can adopt them. We're going there just for a fun trip soon so I'm going to ask about them. I'm really awkward and being a teen I'm not sure how this will work, but I'm confident when I talk about things I know about. So, I always to try to find out more info in them and try to educate them on rabbits more.
I'm not sure who the owner is. It could be the owner of the ATV park that owns them as a pet, or they may have just been dropped off there. I have no idea.

If I cannot rescue them then, depending on what I know I might contact the local humane society to at least check up on them and hopefully they'll be better taken care of.
Or they may take the rabbits and I could then adopt them.

My dad is some what okay with it. I need to work on my mom a bit but I think it really just depends on how it goes trying to rescue them

I agree the all white one looks to be either a NZ or Fl White. Your doe though isn't a dutch. Most likely a mix breed.
Where did you get them from? Are they being sold for meat or as pets?
Yiu should check out BackYard Herds. A lit of rabbit farmers there that can help. Not as many people there but there you mat find it useful

If they aren't already fixed I'll do that and try to bond them. I've been doing lots if research on the best ways to do that.
If course I'll take them to the vet after we get them.

They'll need to be brushed a bit and that will take time to get them comfortable with. I'll probably have their nails trimmed at the vet.

If they do have any health issues I'll treat them and care for them.

Bugs died last night. Idk wht happened last night when I went upstairs to give him his dinner he ate all of it and I played with him and he was super active and binkying. This morning when I went upstairs I found him dead. 😭😭💔💔
I just saw this while trying to catch up some.

I'm so so sorry ☹
You gave him the best life you could and you did so so much for him. I know you really loved him, but just know that's he's in a good place now probably doing binkies and nibbling in treats and hay ❤
