Based on many PM's and emails I have received, I am going to make a change in the rules. Eggs that are offered need to be pure. The offer currently on the table is still valid, but from here on out, the eggs offered need to be from separated, pure breeds. Any specie of poultry still qualifies. So once someone takes the mixes currently being offered, the rest of this chain will be for purebred eggs. We can start a mixed egg thread if anyone wants to. Thanks for your help and understanding!

I hate to leave anyone out,but it does appear that mixes are not popular. Like I posted before, I love my mixes, but I currently have 31 in a bater, hatching as we speak, and a hen on 8 due to hatch next week, plus 2,maybe 3 broody hens that want eggs.I'm not a snob., I just don't need any more mixes.

Have any eggs lasted more than an hour???
I am waiting for SS or Cochins, so maybe make only those with SS or Cochins available allowed to post till I get what I want.

just to clerify, does that mean i can't offer showgirls or sizzle/showgirls?

they r tech a mix at one point but mine breed true. they always hatch showgirl or silkies or sizzles so it is a new breed not a barnyard mix.

I think that is a great idea. We should have a mix up thread elsewhere, it yall don't mind I will start. It really isn't fair if someone gets say 12 pure barnevelder eggs and sends out half polish half leghorns. [YUCK]

We should not allow any offshoot of a Silkie.

WHAT!! I think we should!!! I don't really consider them mixes, more of designer chickens. It is differnent then a half turken/half silkie, they have been bred over time to be a complete silkie with a naked neck.
