1 buff orpington
1 buff brahma
2 silkies
And thats it. My hatch rate for shipped eggs are awful.

I sure do love the ones I have.

So cute and lovable!!! I think I am done with incubating for right now. I need a break. I have had my incubators going full force since Feb!!!

I have really enjoyed the hatching this year!

Thank you all for the fun, but I am going to stop hatching for the year..................I will be back next year!

And 2 gorgeous polish chicks. They are from Perfectly Polish of course.

My bators will all be full as soon as I get my eggs and after those ones hatch the bators will be unplugged until fall at the earliest but more than likely until next spring. And my hens are slowing down due to the heat so I wouldn't want anyone mad at me if I for some reason didn't get the eggs I promised so I decided it was a good time to quit swapping for now. But, don't worry I'll be back later And with more breeds to offer eggs for as my pullets will be growing up and stating to lay.

I can't wait to see what they look like when they feather in! I have been sending out so many polish eggs I haven't had any to hatch myself

your rate is better thsn mine. None of mine hatched. I think the hot temps really do a number on eggs. I wonder if the eggs I shipped fared any better?

Or the postal persons shaking or throwing them around or what ever they do to make them break(playing catch the boxes or toss... oops). I am still waiting on some eggs that were mailed ...I think the postal persons ate them ??? They are way over due to be here.

It is getting so bad that my postmaster and ladies laugh and say NO your eggs are not here....

They know exactly why I am calling before I say a word.........Oh my poor poor saxony eggs???? where did they go??? I decided it would be cheaper and less stressful just to order live chicks.....so I have @80 of various types coming this month from Ideal and Hoover....My poor boys are now having to build more hatching pens and coops

They are coming along nicely....Oh did I mention I have all those trade eggs in the incubator hatching soon........I think I am an addict....

Mine too!! I got 7 cuckoo and black silkies and only one is developing.
