Thats why we have dogs

I disagree, a good cat is very important for a farm, keeps the small critters away. But the dog is much more useful for protecting the cats and chickens.

I never said they weren't, and you do have a good point. But my dogs (Especially one of them) take care of all the little critters while my sisters cats smooch of the neighbors ( the dogs won't let them anywhere near the house) My dog Bob, his mom and dad are both considered excellent vermin exterminators. I have nothing against cats but for now I'll stick to my dogs.

This is Bob

Nah, we have dogs because they're more useful around the farm than a cat is. (Not saying anything against cats but it is true)

LOL
Well, dogs' help on a farm is more evident, as they help herd, hunt, etc. But a cats' work is pretty important too, it's just unnoticed. They heavily reduce or eliminate the rodent population, which can improve the health of farm animals, plants, and even the owners.

I know, I've had excellent mousing cats, some have even brought their kittens whole rabbits to eat
