Ohh yeah you cant trust auctions for what you expect your getting, the people probably didnt want those ducklings and a drak so thats what they put in the auction, same thing as before, im sorry about you only haveing one girl.

Yeah, I agree...you usually get low-quality mystery birds, or worse, mutts. But they'll still market them as pure call, ancona, runner, etc. If it helps though, I thought Wobbles was a girl for the first 4 months of his life. I was certain of it, and even my vet agreed! But sure enough, two weeks ago right the heck outta nowhere his voice dropped an his tail curled overnight. Literally, overnight.

It did strike me as very odd how young 'mother duck' was. It started drastically changing colours really fast and I found this weird because it didnt even seem to be one season old. Not old enough for a big healthy batch of ducklings.

So the most crazy thing is, when I sold it, my friends duck guy said it was a girl! Maybe he should have waited 2 weeks!

Its very mild mannered for a drake, It didnt start acting drakish until the ducklings did, then all of a sudden it was like, Hey Im one of you!
