Ok so when bob was about eight months old we were at a picnic area and my sister went to step off the concrete slap and on to the grass but she almost stepped on a garter snake so of course it startled her, bob was probably about ten feet away from my sister well he made one leap and was between the snake and my sister in about half a second. There was also a fire pit near the picnic area and the snake went into the fire pit and to get bob to leave it alone she told him that's where it belonged, well about five minute later the snake came out if the fire pit so bob want back to the fire pit and put the snake BACK in the fire pit.
