DH just sent me a pic. He let Lucy out this morning for the first time and her and Pigpen are in the driveway making dirt holes. So I think she's going to be just fine with us thank goodness.

Me too. The farmer said she was Rhode Island Red but I've been looking around and I think she's an australorp. Or maybe a mix but she's black not red lol

Is it Super-dark brown, or actually black? Rhode island reds are nutmeg colored and look black from a distance.

Shiny blue-black (like a crow) on top (head, tail and wings) and a very little dark brown with white stripes on her chest and legs.
