I used a heated fountain waterer last winter. This summer I used a dog water bowl, which is heated, but I don't know if I'll use in the winter because they tend to....run through it.![]()
If you do it tell me how it goes! A 5 gallon waterer gets a little tiring to fill/empty/clean.

Do any of you guys have water heaters? Like little bases that you stick your water founts on and it heats the water? I'm thinking about getting one of them for this year's winter, but they're all so EXPENSIVE!! This one I found is good for plastic (which is what I have) and it's good for metal, but it's $65 dollars!!!!! I was like blown out of the water!!
