Laci meanwhile was briskly tidying up SongBaby's room. She swept the feathered duster gracfully over the bookshelf. The maid dearly loved the princess and was always thinking up new ways to please her. An idea suddenly popped into her head. *I know I'll gather her favorite flowers!* she thought excitedly. *They will brighten up this room quite a bit*. *Alas but I can't today* she thought her face immedietly falling. *I must clean the palace for the ball*. Finishing that thought Laci started softly singing. Just loud enough for her own ears to hear.

*Fern burst in* "Mum I heard there was a ball held! I'm so glad! When is it held?"Fern said.
"Shush, calm down she said, it's held tomorrow"
"Okay mum I've got to go bye!"she said, rushing out of the door, see you later".
"What a whirlwind!"Elizabeth says.
