Charles nodded and looked grimly at Winter. The rooster was facing off a black hen. Two guards rushed to assist him but she spun in a skillful move and stabbed them. Then ran off with Fern following.

"Charles do you want to come up to my room"?
Songbaby asked looking at Charles.

Before Songbaby and Charles reached the room a servant came rushing up to them. "Charles" he puffed gulping in large quantities of air. "Your mother is terribly ill and the doctors belive she is in her final hour". Charles grew pale "I will come at once, get the carriage ready" he ordered. Turning to Songbaby he said "I must return to my kingdom but I will come back". He kissed her wing then after a longing look he rushed away.
