“Don’t bother” she said “you hate me, I don’t understand. Why are you doing this for me?” The cut was only mild but there was still blood. “I will be fine” she said
 
Winter could feel himself melting. *No STOP,WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU!?* his mind screamed. The prince opened his beak. "I'm sorry about how iv been treating you" he apologized weakly. "It's.....it's just everything has been hard on me since Lady Anne died". Winter groaned and lept to his feet in sudden anger. "Not that a murdering filthy thief would care" he spat. With that said Winter stomped into the woods.

Midnight dragged herself to a shaky stand, “I understand” she said softly “I was in love to once. That’s why I murder and steal. He betrayed me. I prefer to keep my heart to myself now” she hobbled over
