Winter lept of of the tree but his back was to Midnight. So he did not see her.

Somthing rustled behind Midnight. Then wings grabbed her. "Shhhhhh it's ok I'm safe" a female voice said quietly. "Come with me and quietly" she whispered. "I will explain on the way".
