The chickens hatched! Day 20/21

The chickies are all wet, wet wet... the glass on incubator is dripping with water. I took out the vent plugs. I DID NOT and will not open the bator. I have 6 more eggs pipping and rocking

These are barn yard mix eggs from the feed store. So far

5 black (barred rock/jersey giant?) and

1 yellow. (I think white americana! ?) Wish me luck on the rest

To everyone... there is *nothing* as wonderful as seeing the face of your 5 year old when the chicken pops out of the egg..... he said "mommy this chickie is strong enough to survive.! The look

on his face is pricless!

AwwwWWW! Wishing I had a 5 year old to watch the chickies hatch. I tried to get my 16 y/o son interested but it was a no go. He asked me to video tape it and he'd watch later. Couldn't pull him away from the Facebook.
