The Chickens Were Fascinated By A Visitor

My yard had a visitor, come to eat the mushrooms. While she was there all the chickens lined up by the fence to watch her (while we humans lurked behind the blinds so she couldn't see us).

She got buzzed by the hummingbirds when she approached the feeder then we ran her off when she abandoned mushrooms in favor of my rosebush.

We'd wondered what had been destroying leaves on that rosebush.

PS. This was still broad daylight -- 7:15pm on an overcast, but bright evening with sunset not until 8:29pm.

Sometimes I wonder how the other animals feel looking over and seeing chickens just staring at them.

Similar thing happened her, but it was the deer watching the chickens like "what the heck are these things?"
