The chicks have moved out!

My 2.5 week old chicks moved out to the coop yesterday. I thought they needed some more room, so we put the heat lamps out there and snuggled them in with lots of bedding. It got cold last night, but they seem to be doing okay. I worried ALL night about them!

They loved having some worms in their new house!

This morning when I went out to see them, they all looked very comfortable, despite the cold and rain outside! The temp inside is nicer now, thanks to my kindly husband who closed some of the vents and lowered the heat lamps. They had a nice treat of scrambled eggs last night, and I think I'll let them warm up with some oatmeal tonight when I get home from school! FIRST--I'm taking my 16 year old son to get his driver's license! Wish me luck!
