I got a message from Ideal saying my chicks shipped! a day early! my order consists of 14 bantams, and 4 LF pullets that my neighbor will be taking after a day or two( once the chicks are healthy and hydrated). but I have a problem, Ideal *MAY* put in males for warmth to reach 25 chicks. I knew this, but for some reason i thought that they would just include bantam males! then I realized today they don't sex bantams! i'm so stupid! so know I *MAY* have to pawn 7 cockerels off to my neighbor until I can tell which ones are there four pullets. then I have to figure out what to do with 7 cockerels! they cant go in with my bantams because after a week or two they will be WAY bigger than the bantams. Anybody want some cockerels for meat/pet/breeding purposes in the west Michigan area?
Oh and i have some blue millie fleur D'uccles coming @Cyprus , i will post pics after a week or two because i know you can tell pretty early with them.
