We live in Minnesota and plan on bringing water out every morning and possibly at night if it gets really cold. It's going to be inconvenient to do that, but worth the effort knowing we won't have to worry about a fire. The soffits are open for ventilation and we also put in 2 vents on two sides of the coop. We have the windows for ventilation also. How will you keep water thawed?
Are the soffits open for ventilation?

Fire is scary for sure. You can always put a bowl of snow in coop for if waterers freeze, worked good here when I had a broody isolated away from heated waterer. We live in Minnesota and plan on bringing water out every morning and possibly at night if it gets really cold. Not gonna be enough....and windows will likely be close in winter? This picture shows the vents we put on 2 sides of the coop, and we also have the windows for venting.

Open your soffits and/or open large venting in coop wall under run roof.
