So I live in a farming type town in Idaho. Tiny town. Everyone has chickens, and I mean everyone. I bought a house here because it was a farm town and was thrilled. It didn't even occur to me to check if I could have chickens here, I mean hello there's 30 sheep across the street? EVERYONE has chickens? The lady across the street has a bunch down the road there's like 50..it seemed impossible they had a rule against chickens.

Well I moved in next to satan's neighbors. It turns out you can't have chickens in this town even though everyone does. Even satan's neighbors have chickens, and they have goats, which are skinny and not fed enough.

2 years in and satan's neighbors called the city. They wrote a letter. We're going to try to fight it. But I don't know what to do and I'm utterly horrified. They want the "farm animals" gone in a month. I am not getting rid of my chickens.

I'd appreciate any thoughts as to how to fight these jerks.

The town has rules against chickens. The neighbors, being pieces of crap, reported me to the city for my "farm animals".

I now have a month to get them out. I won't be complying, I intend to fight tooth and nail because IMO it's a basic human right to raise food and also it's a fricking farm town.

I think they were meaning..
Does the whole town/your other neighbors have to get rid of their chickens or is it just you.

Pictures and video! Take as much as possible, of the neighbors with their animals, and other animals around the city. Start a petition for your OTHER neighbors to sign saying they have no issues with chickens being kept, etc.
Think this is probably the best thing to do. especially if one of the chicken or farm animal owners is a lawyer!!
