[Hens rule]

Is her pupil white? Phoenix's pupil is white, I have no idea how she got blind. I think it happened when she was broody in the coop for nearly 8 months.

Good! I thought about my post a few minutes after I posted it, and worried that I had made a grave mistake because lots of people despise him.

Yellows pupil is parshaly white she was pecked as a pullet in the eye and ever since that eye hasnt been so good. Her other eye was pecked maybe a year ago and it's not perfect either. Yellow seems fine though. How old is phonex?

Phoenix is only about 1 and 1/2 years old. I imagine she was pecked by one of the other hens.

We don't really need a nice president anymore, we need one that gets things done.

Probably so. Many of my hens have also.

She's happy, though. Phoenix doesn't hesitate to do anything, including bossing the others around. She's kind of like the mother hen, probably because she has no one else to baby.

That's funny. Same for yellowfeet. She pecks this one hen who pecks me when she is laying an egg. I guess shes defending me...

I have a black Wyandotte named Lucy. She despises roosters, and there are a lot of them running around my property. If they get too close she attacks them, and she means it

aww that's cute and funny! My chickems hated roosters when we had some. One of them would fight my rooster Bravey.

I think Lucy despises them because I used to have one that was awful. I still have him, and his brother, but he leaves the girls alone now. Lucy still attacks them both if she gets the chance, though.

A few years ago my hen Doris was walking aroumd and my dog was smelling her. Doris got mad and my dog rolled over (submisivly) doris jumped on his belly and pecked him in the face.
