The Coop de Gray is finally done

It is a lovely coop. It looks like a palace compared to mine. I only have one suggestion, put something along the bottom edge of the nest boxes. Most birds will try to rearrange the nest boxes and scratch out the nesting material and an edge would help to keep the nest materials in the nest boxes. Good luck and have fun...

Thank you. I had not thought of that.

Yes. Lots of ventilation and the coop is pretty much in the shade so it shouldn't be as hot as other areas on my property would have been.
Good that it's in the shade, but I don't see much ventilation in the coop itself.
Maybe the soffits are open and there's a ridge vent, and pics just don't show it.
Gable vents look good but tiny windows aren't gonna let much air in.

All the windows open on all 4 sides, the two vents at the top are open as well. If it starts to be too hot, I can always go back in and cut in more vents. :). Thank you. I will keep an eye on it.

Beautiful!
If you leave the large door from the run into the coop open all the time, ventilation will be good. Otherwise, the coop is too tight.
For winter winds, wrap the windward sides of the run with vinyl sheeting, leaving plenty of upper opening on the leeward side, or hopefully the south side. Make sure that the entire structure is predator proof, and you can use it all that way.
I don't see your latches, also have them raccoon proof!
For large dogs, adding 2"x4" woven wire around over the hardware cloth on the lower 4' of the run adds security, unless you have electric fencing or some way to keep them away from the run.
